Bakiev and Tashiev made people return the wealth after process of privatisation in 1991. After the collapse of the Soviet Union some people bought state enterprises for small amounts of money. Bakiev made them give back the property and that’s why he had a lot of enemies.
Tashiev grew during Bakiev’s times and he also now has been doing the work of returning state property. He has done a lot during 5 years of being the National Security Head of Kyrgyzstan.
