 This World Cup can be called a triumph for Portuguese-speaking countries. Congo, a Portuguese-speaking country, drew with Portugal and qualified for 1/16. Cape Verde drew 0-0 with Spain and 2-2 with Uruguay, reached 1/16. Brazil and Portugal will also perform well, heading into the playoffs.
