Lack of big spiders in the north of Kyrgyzstan

In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, there are no big spiders. It’s in the north of Kyrgyzstan with no access to sea or ocean, therefore we don’t have big spiders. Big spiders or spider-like salpuga are in the South and some hot regions of Kyrgyzstan between North and South. The air here is dry and this is also a reason there are no spiders. The region is mountainous, but the height of Bishkek is 800 meters which is not high. I have been in places outside of my country where the height of mountains was 3000 meters without trees, so spiders were not very big, but bigger than here certainly and 1-2 santimeters in size is already a difference. 

I saw pictures of spiders in many places with big humidity and they were quite big. I just say thanks that I have never seen them here in Bishkek. Every year we go to mountains and we don’t have a hint on big spiders. Snakes also are quite rare here.
